What this site is
This site provides information about Texas animal-protection legislation and the coalition's advocacy work, and lets you join our legislative briefing or contact us. It is informational advocacy material.

Bill summaries, hearing information, legislative status, and advocacy guidance on this site are provided for general information. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for consulting a licensed attorney. Legislative information changes quickly; always confirm the current status of a bill with the Texas Legislature Online before relying on it.
Accuracy
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but we make no guarantee that everything is complete or error-free. We may change or remove content at any time without notice.
Your submissions
When you submit a form, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you're submitting it on your own behalf. Don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may decline to respond to, or may remove, any submission.

Our content
The coalition's name, logo, written content, and graphics belong to Lone Star Humane Association. You're welcome to share and quote our advocacy materials for non-commercial advocacy purposes with attribution. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
Links to other sites
We link to legislative resources and partner organizations. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
The site is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, the coalition isn't liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms and will revise the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
